What’s the difference between account and card/cash bookings?
CloudCars offers a priority minicab service to its account customers. Account customers receive priority pickups. Although we aim to offer a reliable service to cash or credit card customers, it is not guaranteed during exceptionally busy periods. We prioritise our account customers, therefore occasionally during peak times we might be unable to fulfil all cash/credit card jobs.
How do I set up a Cloud Cars account?
We think there are massive benefits of being an account holder: Money saving; reduced admin; convenience; reliability to name a few and not least, the complete confidence of being able to see where your car is, on your iPhone.

Will Cloud Cars be more expensive than black taxis and existing minicabs?
No.
Just because we have decided to be green doesn’t mean it has to be expensive for doing so.

What are the environmental benefits of using Cloud Cars?
Our fleet of hybrid cars use the latest technology to ensure they have the lowest emissions possible for a vehicle of their size.
Our hybrid cars run on a combination of petrol and electricity. Up to 30mph the cars can run exclusively on stored electricity: Perfect for driving in and around Nottingham City.
Beyond the city limits, when speeds are higher, a combination of petrol and stored electricity means the cars are fast and frugal. Mix in 'regenerative breaking' and we're even saving energy when we slow down!
The result of this means that Cloud Cars fleet is exceptionally efficient, which in turn means lower running costs and lower fares!
